i'm trying to work out this strategy, and wondering if anyone has any thoughts/experience related to it:

i'm in the us right now, near boston, and looking to leave here late autumn. want to be in korea by december or sooner, staying anywhere from 1-3 months. also want to be in jakarta for a few days or more, and extended time in thailand and india. i'd like to return to the u.s. in the spring.

i'm thinking cruise ship, because i'd rather make money than spend money to get across, and i'd rather take two weeks and less fuel than twenty hours and henious amounts of fuel (i'm really trying to not use airplanes, but they are so damn convenient).

i want to offer reiki treaments and teach yoga.

soo...here are some questions:
1. if you sign with a cruise ship, do you have to fulfill the contract all at once or can you do part now, part then?
2. do you know of any boats (one or a combination maybe) that could get me across the big waters and then hop me around the little waters?
3. would it be best to go boston across the atlantic, and then is there something from eu to east asia, or would it be better to go west coast us and go across the pacific?
