Teaching in the UK

What's it like teaching in the UK? I'm an experienced (3 years) certificated middle school teacher who has worked in both suburban and urban ELD environments. An agency from London called me - would it be worth it to go for 1 year. I also wonder how it would be to bring a family over (wife and teenage daughter).
