If all else fails make contacts and travel somewhere and volunteer for a while, even 2 weeks or so, so people get to know you face to face.....an e mail from a "job seeker" is deleted in a heartbeat, a real live face and a smile to go with it well....

www.travelblog.org/Central-...2400.html some advices from Women already "there" on this Bloq

Sorry ----- cannot obtain anyone from the States a "job" abroad. Best try Monster.com International and as well join migente.com for Latinos living mostly in the US and Canada with lots of clubs and forums and a section to post your resume, the site is in English.
I am looking for someone who is willing and able to come to Central America as a small investor (about $5,000), obtain their business residency and set up a language learning, arts and crafts, cultural center and cross cultural institute focused on sustainable and responsible receptive tourism. Seeking only self starters, TEAM PLAYERS, proactive, with a mission and a vision. The businesses in partnership with natives. Level of Spanish (basic required), Degrees, Certificates, CVs and "paper references" not important, people work, resumes do not! Volunteers are always welcome from a few days to a month or so, but should pay their room and board, which is not much by North American standards, rice and beans, arroz y frijoles, are very nutritious and you can learn to wash your own clothes in the "pila" as well.
As well, the old timers like myself, who have been living offshore awhile have an old steadfast rule (I resided in Latin America before there were even public faxes!) We never finalize business with someone we do not know until we have looked them in the eye, shook their hand, studied their "body language" and see how they deal with stress of culture shock and relocation. If your "M" is can you get ME a job you have contacted the wrong person. Best Regards and Good Luck."
