Just wondering if anyone's taught English abroad while still having a home and mortgage to pay. How did you handle getting all your bills paid and what other things did you have to consider?

I paid charge cards in advance. I had my sister take care of other bills. I had an apartment and had put everything in storage and then came back and began again re apartments etc..
People get house sitters easily from craigslist or churches.

Wed, January 9, 2008 - 12:20 PMThanks for sharing all the info. One of my concerns was getting money into my account from overseas but if it's easy to wire it then that's great. Also, will have my sister house sitting/renting my place.
